SOSHI MATSUNOBE

箱の表面には、正円と直線でできた木の年輪のような模様が描かれている。この模様は箱同士を接続し、わたしたちに何か大きな材料を想起させる。
箱は、製図、加工、組立てという建築的なプロセスから製造されている。

 

Each box has a surface pattern made up of regular circles and straight lines that resemble the annual rings of a tree.
This pattern connects the boxes and reminds us of some larger material.
The work are manufactured through an architectural process of drafting, fabrication, and assembly.
